Watermelon

I'm afraid I made a mistake today by doing these slices of watermelon in charcoal bieng that watermelon has such a gorgeous color. I have never tried watercolor and my plan was to do it in watercolor pencil and ink but when, I changed my mind, I really don't know. Well that means that tomorrow's drawing will be done with watercolor pencil. Still working on Fossil III and I hope to try and finish it tomorrow.

I do think this was a good project. I can picture watermelon abstracted. Seeds are important to this visual, but I do like to eat the seedless variety.

Thank you Robin for your visit. It is a fruit that looks nice abstracted and in it's real color.
