Habanero Peppers
I have seen so many nice, painting a day blogs, with small paintings that you can't help but want to give them a try also. I have never really painted just oil and I really like the feel of it after using texture on almost all of my paintings. This is another very small one 4X6.

Mariana, LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!! Beautiful!!
Do another one. This is so pretty.
:)
Thank you Paula! I will try another one , this is fun!
I love your peppers too! I did a small habanero pepper painting this summer. Vegetables are great still life subjects!
Thank you Cynthia. This is the first time I've done peppers but they have such vibrant colors and nice shapes that they really are a good subject.
Lovely bright colours and smooth transitions. I must buy some oil paints and try my hand again with them. You've inspired me.
These habanero peppers are just ready to eat! I love the colors. How about doing a sauce with them? All you need is 3 Habaneros 1 onion, olive oil, salt and oregano. You cut the onion and habaneros in strips, simmer them and just put salt and oregano....
Robin, Jeanette and Leonor thank you!
Jeanette this is addictive, you should try it again. I hadn't used oil in ages.
Leonor, thank you for that salsa. Now I will use the pepper for something with your sauce.
Love the peppers! The small format is so much fun, and freeing.
