Two unfinished weekend Plein Airs

It has been a long time since I have posted but as you all know I was quite busy. I want to have several other pieces done before sending these to Michael Newberry, getting advice and his opinion, so I will post them as unfinished pieces. I have noticed that if I don't continue in spite of not wanting to post until I am sure of a piece, I tend to lose interest and after being away from Art about a month, I better keep moving.:)

These are lovely pieces Mary. The second has almost an abstract feel to it.

I know the feeling of having to continue or lose momentum. I look forward to seeing more.

Wonderful Mary!
I am so proud of you. Such wonderful feeling you give to your work. They certainly have a Mary touch.

Gracias por tu amable comentaro, German.

Jeanette, I happy to hear you see an abstract feel to that one, I wish I could go a little faster with each and get them finished at the site.

Robin, your words are very encouraging, Plein Air for some reason is not easy for me. :)

Anita thank you, I think you have really mastered this technique.

Martha thank you for your visit and comment, this is a technique that I'm just barely getting aquainted with.

Wow, you've bounced back with not one but TWO paintings en plein air! Brava, Mary. I love the first landscape and your colour choices are beautiful.

I really like the abstract flavour of the second painting too.

I'm glad you like them Stacy, I still would like to loosen up though, with the aqueduct it was hard to do.

Pilan thank you, I am slowly learning from Michael and I hope to have a chance now to really concentrate on what plein air is about.

Thank you Robyn, I really prefer doing landscapes than contruction but what I need to be able to do first is getting those brush strokes right, although I am enjoying plein air.
