I thought I would post my painting in my studio and my set up, so the size of the painting could be appreciated. What was a large studio when planning our house, turned into a smaller one because I shared half of it with my husband as a TV room, so while he watches TV in the evening, I paint. If I didn't have so many plants maybe I would have more room to move around, but they make such a nice atmosphere.

Looks like a wonderful, bright and clear space!
your studio is to die for! lovely! what a gorgeous space to work.
Cynthia, thank you for the visit. Your place is also very appealing and your display of your work is always impecable.
Billie thank you! I do enjoy working in it and as plant lover like you are, I need that atmosphere.
A wonderful space to work in Mary and it gives a good perspective of how big your grisaille really is.
What a great space, Mary! And nice that you share it with your husband so that you are together in the same room while you work.
Hi Mary,
Your grisaille is stunning. I love the freshness of your studio too. I remember well how beautiful Mexican architecture and tile are. It makes me want to return to Mexico!
What a beautiful place to work! I lingered for quite a while just 'being there' - it was very nice thank you :) I'm so impressed with your grisaille, Mary - I can't wait to see you add the colour. Please take us along on the whole journey.
Susan and Anita, thank you, yes that is convenient because I do feel that I am ignoring him. :)
Gallery Juana, I am also a great fan of Mexican Contemporary and Colonial architecture. Thank you for the comment on my grisaille.
Robyn thank you for the visit and for the comment on my grisaille. I will post frequent updates once I get into color.
Sorry on the post to Anita and Susan, I meant to say I don't feel that I am ignoring him being in the same room.
Hi Mary. I too love the look of your studio. Nice hight ceilings and it looks so clean compared to where I work. I am claustrophobic so can really appreciate the openness and airiness of it. Is your background going to have that blue/purple color that is on your original? It's beautiful. Just my colors.
Thank you Jeanne! You know it has been very hard for me to get the exact colors of the two shawls in the pastels and much more in a photgraph. They change color especialy the bluish purple one. Once I get them on the grisaille it will be the right ones.:)
How delightful your studio is, Mary. It looks like a real haven. And so tidy too! Don't know how you manage that.
I am fascinated with what you are doing ... I am especially interested because of my own love of drawing and pastel work. You are an inspiration.
Thank you Lesly! I'm not sure about how tidy but it seems that everytime I try a new medium I have to find room for the materials of the last medium so they won't get in the way. :) Thank you for the comment on my work.
